With Over 800 Tattoos and Three Layers on Her Face, This Woman’s Appearance Has Changed Her Life Forever

“Her face turned blue—and people stopped letting her in.” Melissa Sloan has nearly 800 tattoos, including layers over her entire face. But it’s the old photos that truly shock. See what she looked like before in the article 👇

Melissa Sloan is no stranger to stares. At 46 years old, she’s covered in tattoos—from the top of her head to the soles of her feet. But her extreme love for ink has come with a price: she’s been turned away from job opportunities, refused entry to local establishments, and even banned from tattoo parlors.

If you’ve ever gotten a tattoo, you know how addictive they can be. For Melissa, that’s an understatement. After getting her first one, she kept going—again and again. Now, she estimates she’s had around 800 tattoos and believes she could be the most tattooed person on the planet.

How often does she get new ink? According to Melissa, she gets three new tattoos every week.

Melissa, who is a mom of two, says her appearance has drastically affected her everyday life—especially when it comes to finding work.

“I can’t get a job,” she said in an interview with the Daily Star. “I applied for a toilet-cleaning job near my house, and they rejected me because of the way I look.”

She added, “People say I’ve never worked a day in my life, but I did once—it just didn’t last long. If someone offered me a job tomorrow, I’d take it.”

Melissa also opened up about how her tattoo-covered appearance has impacted her children’s lives. Last year, she wasn’t allowed to attend her child’s school Christmas play and had to watch from outside the window.

“No parties, no invites to school functions,” she told The Mirror. “I feel completely left out.”

Even her local pub has denied her entry, simply because of how she looks. But Melissa has accepted the reality.

“There’s nothing I can do now,” she said. “I plan to keep getting tattoos for as long as I can—even into my 70s if possible.”

Her goal? To completely cover her entire body—even if it means looking “blue” from head to toe. “My face is already turning blue—I’m starting to look like a Smurf,” she joked.

Melissa’s obsession with tattoos has reached a whole new level—she’s now tattooed over the same areas multiple times. Her entire skull is inked, and she’s gone over her face not once, but three times.

“I’m aiming to get into the Guinness Book of Records,” she explained. “I probably already have more tattoos than anyone else. And if I don’t yet, I will eventually at the pace I’m going. I just keep layering over the old ones.”

Ironically, some tattoo shops have now refused to work with her. Her dedication is so extreme that even professionals in the industry are saying no.

Despite the rejections and public backlash, Melissa remains determined. She’s unapologetic and proud of her body art—even sharing old photos to show how much she’s changed since her tattoo journey began.
