A touching story: a once-blind dog was delighted to see his owner’s face again after surgery

The fact that Bob had actually shed his vision damaged him.

This dog, Bob, lived in a hidden world for a while. In both of Bob’s eyes, minor cataracts eventually worsened until he became completely blind.

The fact that Bob actually lost his sight hurt him.

Bob’s veterinarian, Murcia Amaro, said: “He ended up being quieter, afraid of bumping into furniture. He could no longer run to greet his master when he returned, and also always liked to invite him”.

Bob was sad to see that his dad’s face was now just a distant memory. But this state will not last indefinitely.

Amaro is a veterinary ophthalmologist specializing in canine eyes. She knew that despite Bob’s apparent helplessness in his scenario, cataract surgery could restore his vision. After consulting with Bob’s dad, an operation was recently scheduled.

As in that moment, everything changed. Bob’s entire cosmos suddenly lifted its drapery.

“Immediately after the operation, he showed encouraging signs,” Amaro said. “He continued to look at us, as if declaring: “I see!”

But Bob had one person he really wanted to see: his dad. The next day they met again.

Bob finally recognized the person whose face he missed the most for the first time in months. His spirit, which was actually dwindling, immediately blossomed again.

“He has completely changed,” Amaro said. “There was a lot of joy. It was very difficult”.

Previously the scene of hidden hardships, as well as the scene of his blackout, Bob is currently recovering at home.

It is now a place of solace and love, and his heart can properly blossom there again.
