Lithuanian Darius, who lives in the U.S., is a big wildlife enthusiast.
One day he witnessed the scene of a deer being born near his home in Yellowstone National Park.
He soon noticed that one of the newborn kittens was injured. He could not walk or follow his mother.
The mother deer left with her second cub, leaving the first one behind.
Darech had no choice but to take the poor one home to recover, as he was against keeping wild animals as pets.
He knew very well that a helpless deer could become fodder for wild animals; it could not survive in the wild on its own.
First he took care of his front leg, which fortunately was not broken, just wounded.
Then, after learning how to feed the baby, he began feeding it with a bottle of milk every 3-4 hours.
The kind man did everything he could to make the poor orphan feel comfortable.
The deer felt very comfortable in the company of her rescuer and her pet.
Every day she was getting stronger and healthier:
It seemed that the rehabilitation process was complete, and it was time to release the deer into the wild where it belonged.
But the time spent with his hero and his family had such an impact on the wild creature that he did not want to leave Darius when they were already in the wild:
He felt great warmth for the man who had saved his life and become his master.
Instead of returning to the woods, he went after Darius.
Eventually, one day he returned to his family.
