Amazing lion story: this woman hails her dog as a brave hero because it saved her life from a lion

This woman was going for a hike with dog when a mountain lion attacked them.

Dogs usually chase cats, but this dog met the only cat she couldn’t catch up with. When you encounter a predatory cat that is more than twice your size, there is little you can do.

Erin Wilson was walking her dog when they were attacked by a mountain lion.

The 24-year-old woman was walking in the forested areas of northwestern California. Of course, California is a big place with many locations. These may be large, busy urban areas. But many animals also call California home.

Just a few of the wild animals you can find include coyotes, bears, snakes and, of course, cougars. Also known as mountain lion. Erin and her dog Eva left their pickup truck and headed down the trail to the river.

At around 132 pounds, the mountain lion is not the type of cat to argue with. These cats have powerful forearms and fangs that regularly pierce the skin of deer and sheep.

When the cat attacked the couple, Erin screamed for Eva.

The dog then risked his life for Erin and was confronted by a mountain lion. She fought an opponent who was several whole weight categories above her. One that regularly destroys larger and more dangerous animals.

The cat easily defeated Eva and pressed the dog’s head.

Now it’s Erin’s turn to help Eva. Erin tried punching, swaying, and making eye contact. None of them worked.

She ran to grab a crowbar in her car.

One of the cars stopped to help and Erin told the whole story.

The driver who stopped him was a woman named Shannon. Erin told her to grab everything she could reach and help free the dog.
