On Christmas Eve, Prince William spent the day giving back alongside his eldest son, 12-year-old Prince George. Together, father and son took part in preparing a festive holiday meal for people in need, visiting The Passage, one of the largest charities in the UK dedicated to supporting those experiencing homelessness.
The visit carried deep personal meaning for William, as it continued a tradition rooted in his own childhood. It was his mother, Princess Diana, who first brought him to The Passage when he was just 11 years old, introducing him early on to the importance of compassion and service.
Over the years, the charity has remained close to the prince’s heart. In 2019, he officially became its royal patron, placing the fight against homelessness at the center of his public mission. Taking part in the organization’s Christmas efforts has since become an annual commitment for him—and this year marked the first time his son joined him in that role.
