Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodríguez’s Wedding Day Unveiled in First Photos

Newly released images from Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodríguez’s wedding are giving the first look at the couple’s private celebration, held after ten years of their relationship.

Rather than celebrating in a castle or at an extravagant venue, Ronaldo and Rodríguez exchanged vows in the living room of their new home in Portugal, surrounded by their children and a small circle of people closest to them.

“We decided to do it in the living room of our home: where we have breakfast, lunch and dinner, and where we live our everyday life,” Rodríguez explained. She said she hopes that decades from now, their children will look at the same table and remember that something extraordinary happened there — their parents got married.

For Rodríguez, the intimate setting represented a major change from the wedding she once imagined. As a little girl, she dreamed of a huge castle, a carriage, an enormous train and a sparkling crown. Her priorities, however, changed over the years.

Now surrounded by the luxuries she once dreamed about, she said something private and deeply personal felt far more special. Having the ceremony at home with Ronaldo and their children offered exactly the kind of moment that has become rare in their extraordinary lives.

The couple have not completely abandoned the idea of a lavish celebration. They revealed that they eventually hope to hold a much bigger wedding gathering with relatives and friends. This year, however, their demanding schedules, Ronaldo’s competitions and family responsibilities left them wanting something simpler.

Ronaldo, 41, and Rodríguez, 32, married on August 11, the anniversary of their first meeting. Their relationship began in 2016 after they crossed paths at the Madrid boutique where Rodríguez was working at the time.

The pair have two daughters together, Alana, 8, and four-year-old Bella. Their household also includes Ronaldo’s three older children — Cristiano Jr., 16, as well as nine-year-old twins Eva and Mateo. Bella was born a twin, but her brother tragically did not survive childbirth.

The low-key ceremony was reportedly attended by a small circle of the couple’s nearest and dearest. Alongside their children were Ronaldo’s longtime friend Miguel Paixão, Rodríguez’s sister Ivana Rodríguez, as well as jeweler José Rodríguez Sangil and his wife, Mónica González Martínez.

After ten years together, Ronaldo and Rodríguez ultimately chose to make their marriage official not with the enormous spectacle many might have expected, but inside the home where their family spends its everyday life.
