Gertie likes to miss her owners’ home and get stuck wherever she can.
They knew Gertie needed help because it wasn’t the first time she’d been out of the house.
Soon the owners distributed flyers of the missing dog in case anyone saw her. But then a neighbor of Gertie’s owners heard the dog barking from the walls of the garage.
She called emergency personnel at their property. It turned out that there was a dog left on the garage wall. It was Gertie.
It took a lot of effort on the part of the firefighters, but the result was worth it.
When she saw her owners, she started moving her tail for joy.
We are glad that this dog was unharmed and reunited with her family.
