Here’s a funny story: this macaque punishes her cub for offending her friend cat
The mother macaque demonstrated to her cub that it is unacceptable to behave bad.
All parents participate in the upbringing of their children. They try to instill in them an understanding of what is good, what is bad, what can and cannot be done. Monkeys are such smart creatures that they keep children in strictness.
In Thailand, a tourist filmed a video in which a mother is raising a cub. The monkey mother and her cub ate together. Then a cat came to visit them.
The cub really wanted to play with the guest, but did not know how to do it right. The cub began to bite the cat, pulling its fur. The mother’s reaction was not late.
She made it clear to her cub that this was unacceptable. In particular, after the cat was bitten the next time, she did the same to him.
As a result, the cub left. And the mother stayed with the guest. The monkey and the cat immediately became friends.
But the cub’s disorder, in spite of everything, did not last long, but he wanted to eat, so he returned and continued the meal.
