«His body was found in the wilderness!»: The news of the passing of the «A Room with a View» star left the fans in tears

Sands who was announced missing since January was found in the wilds of California😓😓😓

The fans were speechless when this actor best-remembered for his leading role in the 1985 movie «A Room with a View» was found dead in the wilds of California.  It was known that on January 12 he went mountain climbing all alone.

On January 13 he was officially announced missing and rescue workers failed to find him. The Washington Post claims that they could do nothing but to stop the searching due to severe weather. Yet, helicopters and drones continued looking for the actor.

It was only on June 24 that his body was found.

The movie Sands was best-remembered for became one of the 100 greatest British films of all time. He had already starred in over 150 films and TV shows.

Everyone knew that Sands was a decent, honorable and incredibly talented personality. He was fond of outdoors and hiking which, sadly, became the reason for his premature death.

Here are his brother’s words, «I have come to terms with the fact he’s gone and for me that’s how I’ve dealt with it».
