Interesting and incredible story: this speech therapist taught his dog to pronounce about 40 words
Surprisingly, the speech therapist managed to teach her dog to talk.
Christina Hanger is a professional speech therapist who has a dog named Stella. Christina has taught Stella to speak.
Of course, learning was not easy. In order for the dog to remember the words and get used to the device, Christina and her friend Jake had to spend 16 months on it.
At that time, Stella could already reproduce 29 words, and a year later the couple managed to teach the dog 11 commands.
The device with which Stella learned to “speak” is a panel with volume buttons. Each of these buttons is given a specific command, such as “play”, “eat”, “walk”, etc.
To help Stella understand the mechanism of this device, the owner did the following: every time Christina fed the dog, she pressed the “feed” button, and before the walk, the “walk” button.
She did the same with the rest of the orders. Of course, Christina has always used the front of the dog to understand how it works.
Now Stella is doing a great job with the device, she expresses her emotions by pressing the buttons.
There are even whole dialogues between dog owners.
Now she plans to continue training Stella, and in the future to prepare special courses for other dogs.
