Ivanka Trump swapped her familiar tailored outfits and elegant dresses for something completely different during a sunny escape to Costa Rica.
The 44-year-old was photographed at the beach wearing a fitted long-sleeved white surf top with black bottoms as she headed into the water with a longboard.
The new photos showed Ivanka confidently balancing on her board and catching waves. At one point, she even flashed the classic “shaka” hand gesture, appearing completely at ease in the relaxed beach setting.
Not every attempt went according to plan. Ivanka was also captured losing her balance and falling into the water, but she quickly climbed back onto her board and continued the session with a big smile.
The casual outing offered a striking contrast to the sophisticated public image most people associate with Ivanka. Away from formal events and business meetings, she appeared relaxed while enjoying an active day outdoors.

Her husband, Jared Kushner, 45, was not pictured during the surfing session. The couple have been married since 2009 and share three children.
In recent years, Ivanka has largely shifted her attention away from public service and toward her family, private-sector projects and personal interests. Her latest Costa Rica appearance offered another glimpse at that more relaxed side of her life.
