Justin and Hailey Bieber aren’t entertaining the rumors about their relationship falling apart. Married since 2019, the pair welcomed their first child, Jack Blues Bieber, in August 2024. Despite frequently sharing affectionate posts on social media, speculation about their marriage persists. On December 29, pop culture TikToker Sloan Hooks stirred the pot by claiming to have received a “tip” suggesting the couple’s relationship was struggling. In response to the chatter, both Justin and Hailey appeared to address the gossip through pointed Instagram posts.
Kicking off the new year, Justin posted a photo of Hailey in a bikini from their New Year’s festivities. “Um,” he captioned the snapshot in an Instagram story, adding, “Goin anywhere with u bb.” The playful and affectionate post seemed to silence the whispers of marital trouble.
Hailey, on the other hand, addressed the noise a day earlier on December 30, just after Hooks’ TikTok began gaining traction. In her Instagram story, she shared a clip of TikToker Bernard Joseph Velasquez delivering a candid message. Hailey captioned it, “Me to all of you on the Internet.” In the video, Velasquez bluntly states: “You’re not well, and that’s OK. You’ve made choices, and those choices have led you to situations you hate. You wake up every day thinking, ‘F*ck, this is the reality I created.’”
This isn’t the first time Hailey has spoken out about the constant rumors surrounding her marriage. In a July 2024 interview with W Magazine, she revealed how damaging the negativity has been and shared that therapy has helped her cope with the relentless scrutiny.
“Since the beginning, people have criticized my relationship,” Hailey explained. “‘They’re breaking up. They hate each other. They’re getting divorced.’ It’s like people refuse to believe we’re happy together. For a while, I tried to pretend it didn’t hurt as much, to convince myself I’d grow numb to it.
