Kate Middleton Celebrates Holi in Leicester Wearing Floral Necklace and Elegant White Ensemble

Kate Middleton brought warmth and color to Leicester as she joined members of the British Indian community to celebrate the vibrant festival of Holi.

The 44-year-old Princess of Wales embraced the spirit of the celebration while honoring one of the festival’s traditions. Guests typically wear light-colored clothing during Holi, and Kate followed suit by choosing a white coat paired with a cream-colored dress by Ralph Lauren.

She completed the elegant look with gold earrings, beige pumps, and a special floral necklace made of roses and pearls that was presented to her upon arrival. The delicate accessory added a festive touch to her otherwise classic outfit.

During the visit, Kate took time to immerse herself in the local culture and meet community members. She stopped by a shop specializing in traditional Indian saris and later enjoyed tea with classic Indian sweets at a family-run restaurant.

The day also included a visit to a community center, where she watched a lively Bollywood dance performance. At one point, the princess even joined in herself. Removing her shoes, she stepped onto the floor and participated in a dance workshop, surprising many attendees with her relaxed and cheerful energy.

The outing was part of a series of recent public appearances for the Princess of Wales. Just days earlier, she and Prince William traveled to Wales ahead of St. David’s Day celebrations. The royal couple also recently attended the 2026 BAFTA Awards as honored guests.

Kate and William, who married in 2011, are parents to three children: Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.

Last year, Kate’s health became a major topic of public concern. In 2024, the princess unexpectedly disappeared from public engagements before revealing that she had been diagnosed with cancer. After a year of treatment, she announced that the disease had gone into remission.

Recently, rumors circulated suggesting the illness had returned and that Kate was wearing a wig due to hair loss. Those claims, however, were never confirmed.

Her appearance in Leicester, smiling and engaging warmly with the community, offered a reassuring and joyful moment — fitting for a celebration centered on color, renewal, and hope.
