One married couple has recently become the new owners of this knocked-down and wretched apartment. Not considering its miserable look, it attracted the family with its reasonable price and wonderful view. The spouses decided to take the risk and buy it which they never regretted later. Its area is 56 square meters and long and challenging work promised to be ahead.
Porcelain tiles with an imitation of light wooden covering were laid on the floor in the entrance area. They painted the walls with neutral gray shade. A miniature chest of drawers and a chair were placed near the entrance. On the site of the former passage, a decision was made to organize a dressing room where they store outerwear, a utility unit as well as a washing machine.
The kitchen turned out to be rather small – less than 6 square meters, but it became functional and now boasts everything needed. The flooring is porcelain stoneware, under which there is a warm floor function. They also installed a corner set featuring white facades. The apron is lined with white tiles imitating brickwork. What concerns the tabletop, it is made of oak.
The wall behind the TV was made an accent one. It was decorated with laminate. A mirror panel consisting of small squares was hung on the wall opposite the window. It perfectly reflects natural light and visually enlarges the space.
Given the fact that the bedroom occupies a small place, only necessary attributes were placed here. To the right of the entrance there is a closet for things and a bed with a soft headboard found its place in the center. What concerns the children’s room, one can see a crib, places to store things and toys as well as a small desk here.
The bathroom and the toilet are combined. White and porcelain tiles imitating wood were used for decorating the walls and floors. They hid the counter behind a tile.
