Lauren Sánchez stepped into the Paris night alone — and made sure all eyes followed. The former journalist was photographed leaving the Cheval Blanc hotel in the French capital, impeccably dressed and strikingly solo, with her husband Jeff Bezos nowhere in sight.
Sánchez, 56, chose a deep burgundy turtleneck dress by Eterne that hugged her figure and set the tone for a sleek, confident evening look. She paired it with sheer pantyhose and matching burgundy heels by Alaïa, keeping the palette rich and controlled. Draped over her shoulders was a standout piece — a vintage coat from Tom Ford for Gucci Fall Winter 2004, finished with a dramatic fur shawl that added old-Hollywood weight to the moment.

She completed the outfit with a glossy maroon handbag, a neutral manicure, and carefully styled hair — partly smoothed, partly straightened for contrast. Her makeup was polished and full, finished with a high-shine lip that caught the light as she exited the hotel.
Notably absent was her husband, Jeff Bezos. He wasn’t seen accompanying Sánchez as she left the luxury property, a detail that immediately sparked quiet chatter given the couple’s usual habit of appearing together.

The solo outing came just days after Sánchez publicly celebrated Bezos’ birthday. The Amazon founder turned 62 on January 12, and she marked the occasion with a black-and-white Instagram story featuring Bezos in a black cowboy hat and dark aviator sunglasses, arms crossed over a fitted black T-shirt. She set the image to Olivia Dean’s song Man I Need and wrote a message calling him her favorite adventure and expressing love beyond words.
The affection has gone both ways. Last month, Bezos shared his own birthday tribute to Sánchez, posting a photo of her mid-hike, smiling broadly and balancing on one leg with the other lifted playfully. He captioned it with a birthday message for Mrs. Bezos, complete with heart emojis.

Still, whispers about their dynamic haven’t fully disappeared. Fans recently speculated about tension after the couple was spotted partying in St. Barts before New Year’s Eve. While they’re often seen aboard their $500 million superyacht Koru during those trips, this visit looked different to some observers.
A video circulated showing Sánchez enthusiastically dancing on a couch at a restaurant as staff celebrated a birthday at another table, sparklers waving and music blasting. Bezos remained seated. The contrast fueled online commentary, with some viewers suggesting he looked uncomfortable and eager to leave.

Sánchez and Bezos married in a star-studded ceremony in Venice in June 2025, after getting engaged aboard their yacht in May 2023. They’re based in the exclusive Indian Creek Village near Miami Beach but continue to travel constantly, moving between global hotspots with ease.
In Paris, at least for the night, Sánchez stood alone — stylish, composed, and entirely unbothered.
