This gorgeous cat recently became 31-years old, which equals a man’s 141st birthday.

The good people of Ian and Liz Finlay decided to adopt a stray dog who had befriended another cat, Spice.

The cat had some health problems, so when people brought him to the vet for treatment, they said Nutmeg was about 5 years old.

That fact may make the cat the oldest cat in the world.

Unfortunately, to prove it, they have to show the Guinness Book of World Records a birth certificate for the gorgeous cat, which they don’t have. They keep working on it.

Last year, Nutmeg became ill. But the strong cat, to the surprise owners, made a full recovery.

This makes Liz and Ian wonder how many lives their beloved cat can live.

Nutmeg is a completely spoiled cat who may wake his owners at 5 a.m. to ask them to feed him, but that doesn’t make them idolize him.
