This Bangkok-born teenage has been referred to as the «Chewbacca» because of her excessive hair. People called her «a monkey» and «a monster» and this all was because of Ambras Syndrome. Due to the rare condition, even her face was fully covered with hair.
The syndrome caused a rare defective gene and no more than 50 cases have officially been documented in the whole world so far. Supatra broke the world record of being the hairiest teen and even appeared in the Guinness Book of Records. Her unique appearance let no one stay indifferent and not leave a comment or glance.
Surprisingly, Supatra is now happily married. Her husband’s unwavering support plays a huge and crucial role in her life for which she is genuinely grateful. Supatra claims that she doesn’t feel inferior and her extra hair only makes her special and distinctive.
