This is fine: this woman bought an old garage and a year later turned it into a huge house

This huge house retained the appearance of a traditional two-storied building.

120 years ago, Mark Twain advised to invest all the money in the ground, because no one else produces it.

Marta Novitzki really managed to buy only an old garage for his savings, but in a good area.

Many friends criticized her decision, but Martha perfectly understood her plan and only a year turned a garage into a house with an area of 126 square meters, which is much larger inside than it looks outside.

Martha bought a garage in Dalston, a fashionable area of London.

The apartment here costs sky -high money, so the woman had no doubt when she managed to buy at least a garage.

In addition, Martha is a famous architect. And from the very beginning she understood how to remake the building for her needs.

The facade of the garage has not changed.

Martha wanted to maintain an authentic style.

The gates were removed, and instead the architect installed a “secret” door that completely merging with the wall.

The limited space left the woman only one available maneuver: building.

At the same time, the house retained the form of a traditional two -story building.

One floor was deepened, only windows remained above the ground. On the floor of the household and a living room with a wood stove.

Part of the floor on the upper floors, like the ceiling on the latter, has transparent inserts. This makes the room visually even more voluminous. In addition, Marta tried to minimize the use of walls and partitions.

After the repair was completed, the architect conducted a small tour of the house.

In total, in 46 meters, March managed to place a house in 126 squares.

Her friends, coming to visit, do not even immediately understand how this happened.
