In early December 2021, a deadly tornado hit the state of Kentucky (USA). During a natural disaster, a woman was separated from her beloved dog…
Mayfield was one of the most devastated areas since the tornado hit Kentucky at full strength from Friday, Dec. 10 through the night of Saturday, Dec. 11, 2021. Unfortunately, there are many deaths.
On this dark evening, a woman was separated from her dog Nola. When it happened, we were at home, we lost him, he said, the lights went out, the house began to shake, we were picked up, we lost the dog.
Devastated by this loss, the lady combed the area under the rubble. In the investigation, she was accompanied by the Dutch journalist Lukas Wagmister, who covered the sad event, according to the Daily Mail.
During the operation, the journalist pointed to a dog that was roaming the rubbish heap. At that moment the Mayfield resident recognized his four-legged companion. “Nola! Nola, she cried, running up to the quadruped, come here, my child”.
There was a touching reunion. Nola ran to make herself comfortable in the comforting arms of her mistress. The dog gave her a feast, tears of happiness flowed. The emotions were very strong.
The video of the touching reunion was posted on Facebook, where it has received over 4,000 likes to date.
Nola and her lover were not the only ones who met again. Another disaster victim, Deanna Badillo, believed her pet was killed that night.
A neighbor found her under the rubble and took her to a local shelter until she was reunited with her family. A relief for Deanna Badillo, a small glimmer of hope and joy in this desert landscape.
