Victoria Beckham Reveals What Really Happens Behind Closed Doors at Their Family Mansion — And It’s Surprisingly Ordinary!

With their enormous fortune, luxurious homes and glamorous lifestyle, David and Victoria Beckham seem to live in a completely different world from most families. But behind the designer clothes and celebrity appearances, their weekends are surprisingly traditional!

Victoria Beckham has revealed that one of her family’s favorite rituals is something millions of British households enjoy every week: a classic Sunday roast.

The 52-year-old fashion designer explained that family members gather around the dinner table at approximately 6:30 p.m. every Sunday to enjoy a homemade meal and spend quality time together.

David Beckham and their children Romeo, Cruz and Harper are part of the tradition, which Victoria considers an important opportunity to reconnect without the distraction of mobile phones.

And despite their extraordinary wealth, the menu is remarkably familiar.

Yorkshire puddings, stuffing and plenty of vegetables are among the family’s favorites. However, there’s one traditional ingredient that is strictly excluded from their Sunday dinner.

“No parsnips,” Victoria revealed in an interview with The Sunday Times, explaining that they are among the very few foods her husband simply refuses to eat.

But the family’s down-to-earth approach doesn’t stop at their dining habits.

Victoria also admitted that she doesn’t believe expensive household possessions should be locked away and saved for special occasions.

Even when it comes to beautiful glassware, costly furniture and elegant table settings, she prefers everyone to feel comfortable using them.

“Things need to be used, things need to be shared,” she explained, adding that she wants guests and family members to enjoy her favorite pieces rather than worry about damaging them.

For Victoria, a welcoming home is far more important than maintaining a perfectly untouched interior.

The former Spice Girl has previously spoken about the importance of family unity, explaining that the Beckhams make a conscious effort to support one another.

“That’s what the Beckhams do. We like to have fun. We like to spend time all together,” she told ELLE.

She also recalled the emotional experience of seeing David and their children backstage after one of her fashion shows.

Watching their expressions of pride reminded her how important their encouragement has been throughout her career.

At the same time, Victoria believes it is valuable for her children to see both parents working hard and pursuing their professional ambitions.

And while Sunday dinners are one of their favorite traditions, Saturdays are apparently just as special!

David Beckham previously revealed that the family loves spending weekends in the British countryside, where outdoor cooking has become a major part of their routine.

According to the former footballer, their Saturday barbecues can begin as early as 11 a.m. and continue until midnight.

The 51-year-old admitted that he and his sons usually take charge of the grilling, while daughter Harper also enjoys helping in the kitchen.

Victoria, however, prefers a slightly different role.

“She is more about eating and drinking,” David joked, explaining that he and the children are generally the ones doing the cooking.

The revelation offers a charming glimpse into the family’s private life, showing that even one of the world’s most recognizable celebrity couples enjoys ordinary pleasures.

Despite their glamorous public image, David and Victoria appear to treasure the simple moments that bring everyone together — whether it’s a homemade Sunday roast, a countryside barbecue or an evening spent chatting around the dinner table.

And although their home may be considerably more luxurious than most, their favorite weekend traditions sound surprisingly familiar.
