It was back in the 1980s that he rose to overall fame and recognition for his iconic role in «The Blue Lagoon», the film that brought his acting career into a new level. The movie solidified him as a teen idol. Few know that initially he wished to become a professional baseball player, hut a serious knee injury prevented him from fulfilling his cherished dream.
