This girl did a good deed and changed three living beings during a hurricane.
There is always time and energy for good deeds, and this is confirmed by the example of 15year-old Bailey Villavaso. On the eve of Hurricane Ida in New Orleans, she did a good deed.
The evacuation was in full swing when Bailey noticed something strange in the park.
The wind had already risen strongly and she knocked down a tree from which a squirrel’s nest fell. There were three squirrels inside, shivering from the cold, but their mother was not there.
Bailey decided she had to save the orphans. She put them in a box and got into the car. The Villavaso family escaped the storm.
On the way, Bailey contacted a veterinarian she knew, learned how to feed and care for squirrels. It turned out that the creatures are restless, but grateful. They ate and began to explore the area. Most of all they loved to crawl along the Bailey.
The girl named them Simon, Alvin and Theodore.
It turned out that no one was interested in squirrels, because the storm toppled many trees, and now there are thousands of these rescued squirrels.
The girl decided that she would raise squirrels so that they would become their guardian mother.
