«Gwyneth Paltrow against the 76-year-old skier»: the court delivered the final verdict in their case

Online users speak about Gwyneth Paltrow vs Terry Sanderson’s lawsuit.

The interest of fans in the trials of celebrities, it seems, not only did not fade away but also flare up since Johnny Depp and Amber Heard found out about their relationship in the courtroom.

Last week, Internet users actively discussed the lawsuit of Gwyneth Paltrow against Terry Sanderson.

Recall that the 76-year-old ophthalmologist, who had already retired, accused the actress of crashing into him at high speed on the ski track, after which she «left him completely alone in the snow».

At first, Terry demanded impressive compensation from Gwyneth in the amount of $ 3.1 million. The actress did not plead guilty and filed a counterclaim.

However, this did not stop the ophthalmologist. He again went to court, reducing the required amount of compensation to a much more acceptable 300 thousand dollars.

The trial began on March 21, the sampling took place every day. And Gwyneth personally attended each of them.

Last Thursday, the jury after 2 hours of hearings and 20 minutes of discussion decided to make the final verdict, withdrawing all the charges with Paltrow.

After the judge read out the verdict, Gwyneth went to Terry and said: «I wish you all the best». To which he thanked the actress.

By the way, Paltrow explained why she decided to appear in court on her own, although she could easily pay the amount required from her.

«I felt that if I agree to this, I would confirm false accusations against me. This compromised my integrity. I am satisfied with the result and appreciate the whole painstaking work of the judge and the jury. I am grateful to them for their attentive attitude to this matter», Gwyneth emphasized.
