Interesting story: this unique dog walks 4 miles every day to greet everyone

Bruno has been visiting Longville, Minnesota since childhood.

Bruno had been in the habit of driving the 4 kilometers into town through virtually every trip for the previous twelve years, just to say hello to the neighbors.

Bruno, namely Wandering Dog, has been visiting Longville, Minnesota since childhood.

Larry LaVelle saved him from the road after a passer-by mistook him for his dog 12 years ago, and Larry decided to adopt him.

Despite Larry’s best efforts, Bruno didn’t want to just settle down and preferred adventure.

He had to get used to people calling him to say they had found his dog, only for him to tell them he was an “adventurer”.

He’s also used to Larry telling the person on the other end of the phone to let him go, which causes a lot of confusion.

Bruno differed from most dogs in that he could easily overcome long distances on his own.

The people of Longville are finally getting used to noticing Bruno walking around.

An ice cream shop, city hall, bookstore, and various grocery stores and office buildings where he’ll be greeted with leftover meat are among his favorite places.

He was so loved by the townspeople that he was given the title “City Dog” and an amazing statue was erected in his honor!
