When they keep asking me the reason for my divorce, I never get tired of explaining the following. On the day of my birthday my wife and children somehow «forgot» to congratulate me, so did my parents, surprisingly.
I went to work and just imagine my surprise when my colleagues didn’t remember what day it was too. Only when I entered the office, my secretary congratulated me becoming the only one who actually treated me so well making me feel important.
Later, she invited me to have lunch. Then, she didn’t mind welcoming me to her apartment. As she was the only one who actually cared about me I rushed to agree. When we arrived, she asked me to wait for her a little while she was in the bathroom.
My jaw dropped when from the bathroom came my wife, children, parents and colleagues! They were yelling «SURPRISE!» and to say that I lost my mind is nothing to say.
