Richard Gere’s Health Crisis: Recovering from Pneumonia, Family Affected as Well

Richard Gere, 73, had no idea what would happen to his family when he decided to take his wife Alejandra Silva and children to sea.
As it turned out, his personal journey ended under a hospital drip. This is reported by Express.co.uk publication.
Geer has planned a vacation to Mexico to celebrate his wife’s birthday.
Considering the fact that Alejandra turned 40 this year, she is about 30 years younger than her husband.
Richard started coughing a little even before leaving for the resort, but the actor chose not to pay attention to it.
However, Gere began to feel worse and worse as they got there. A cough shocked her, and when her temperature rose, Alejandra urged her to go to the hospital.
When Richard arrived at the hospital, the staff there immediately diagnosed him with pneumonia, a dangerous condition for anyone, and even more so for a 70-year-old.
Fortunately, therapy wasn’t started too late and Gere recovered after a round of strong antibiotics. Now, according to Alejandra, he is getting better.
The actor’s illness was not the only concern, however. there were others. It is clear that Richard’s illness was contagious, and as a result Silva and their children also became ill after him.
However, Alejandra and the actor’s two sons all had much less severe conditions.
