Some people have witnessed the heroic, selfless action of a dog named Max.
Dogs are not only very intelligent, lovable creatures who are considered people’s best friends, but they also have a special ability or instinct to help both people and other living creatures in need.
One beautiful sunny day, Max was enjoying his free time on the beach with his owner Rob Osborne and his human brother.
Suddenly Rob noticed a boy swimming into the mouth of the river in a panic.
He saw the flow of water push the boy into a rocky, dangerous and deep part of the river.
Before he could do anything to help the boy, his dog, noticing the boy in danger, rushed into the water to save the drowning boy.
He acted very quickly.
The tide was rising, sucking the boy to the rocky parts of the river. Within seconds the brave Max reached the frightened boy.
Fortunately, the dog was wearing a rescue jacket. And the boy, taking hold of the jacket, swam to shore. They were both alive and well.
Max is a real hero. Thanks to him, the boy is alive.
