In the US state of Louisiana, a small puppy ended up in a dog shelter. They gave him the nickname Burro.
To attract attention, the puppy decided to learn to smile.
The shelter staff were fascinated by Burro’s smile and decided that such a resourceful dog needed help. They filmed a video of Burro smiling.
The video was posted online. A young couple, seeing a smiling puppy, decided to take the animal home.
