Nicole Kidman has traded red carpets for dramatic landscapes as she enjoys a memorable family getaway in Iceland. The 59-year-old actress shared a collection of vacation photos featuring her younger sister, 56-year-old Antonia Kidman.
The sisters embarked on a cruise through Iceland, with Nicole documenting everything from relaxing moments aboard the ship to excursions surrounded by the country’s spectacular scenery.
In the new photos, Kidman can be seen posing on the deck, unwinding in a hot tub and spending time at the cruise ship’s bar. Other snapshots show the actress exploring on land and taking in Iceland’s rugged natural beauty.
Several pictures also feature Antonia, offering followers a relatively rare glimpse of the famous sisters enjoying some downtime together. A friend joined them for parts of the trip as well.
Kidman clearly came away impressed by the experience. She described Iceland as a “beautiful country” and called the getaway “the trip of a lifetime,” while thanking those who welcomed her family and guests.
The peaceful vacation follows another busy period for the Hollywood star. Kidman recently stepped back into the spotlight at the premiere of the third season of “Special Ops: Lioness,” where her sheer ensemble attracted plenty of attention.
Her personal life has also undergone significant changes. Kidman separated from musician Keith Urban last year after 19 years of marriage. The former couple share daughters Sunday, 18, and Faith, 15.
Kidman was previously married to Tom Cruise for 11 years, and they share two adopted children. For now, however, the actress appears focused on family time — and her Iceland adventure with Antonia provided plenty of striking memories to bring home.
