Years haven’t passed by this 90s star who has achieved tremendous success after «The Sally Jessy Raphael Show». It was in 1983 that her journey began with the show becoming one of the most popular daytime ones running until May 2002. It quickly became a trailblazer in audience participation setting the stage for other influential talk show hosts including O. Winfrey.
Throughout her career she interviewed a number of world-renowned celebrities describing hoating A. Hepburn as one of the most memorable and remarkable ones ever that left a lasting impression and impact on her. The show ran for 20 seasons and welcomed many A-list stars captivating large audiences. It was Raphael’s signature look that became a key and indivisable part of her image and persona.
Her sound sense of humor left no one remain indifferent. Initially, she struggled to read the teleprompter but then, after her visit to an eye clinic, she got a new pair of glasses in red. It soon became her trademark making her stand out among all her contemporaries and fellows. Interestingly enough, she changed around 200 pairs during her career.
