The ones who are sick and tired of their old furniture too, you are in the right place! 😬😤 It may no more be in good shape or suit with the decor of the interior, but there is one solution that will work wonders – RESTORATION! 💯🤌 One DIY enthusiast gave her old bedroom set a radical makeover and inspired millions of people! 🛏️👩🔧 She ended up being more than satisfied with the final results which I will show in this article! 👇
Feeling uninspired by your old furniture? Thinking about replacing it but don’t have the budget? Maybe it’s still in good shape, but the color no longer suits your style or clashes with your décor? No worries! A fresh coat of paint can work wonders. That’s exactly what one girl did, and now her furniture looks brand new.

Hey there! I wanted to show you how I gave a plain, inexpensive bed and some bedside tables a whole new look. This isn’t a full restoration—just a decorative upgrade—but I hope it gives someone inspiration. Next on my list is the dresser, which is still stuck in that awful factory finish!

I used American-brand Parker facade paint. First, I lightly sanded the surface and cleaned it thoroughly. Then, I applied two coats of brown, followed by three coats of white. The number of layers depends on how well the paint covers. The final result has held up for a year so far, and I’m happy with it. Using a primer probably would have reduced the amount of paint needed, but I skipped that step since it’s not a high-traffic piece like a chair or table.
