For six years, a friend of a disabled boy has been wearing it to class.

A boy named Zhang lives in the Chinese province of Sichuan. When he was four years old, the baby was diagnosed with a serious illness – Zhang lost control over the work of his muscles. Soon Zhang lost the ability to walk on his own.

However, this did not prevent the boy from becoming a schoolboy. For the past six years, Zhang’s friend and classmate, Xu, has been taking him to class. On his back, Xu moves around the school from one class to another. He goes up and down the stairs with him.

In addition, Xu takes a friend to the toilet, helps him in the school cafeteria. Also, friends always do their homework together. All this requires dedication, patience and perseverance.

Xu jokingly refers to himself as Zhang’s “cane”. He admits that it is not at all difficult for him to carry a classmate.

The boys’ teachers are amazed at Xu’s responsibility. Moreover, it was Xu who offered his help to Zhang in the first grade.
