In 2011, 33-year-old Turia Pitt took part in a 100 km race as a model. But at some point, a terrible fire began, and many people then were literally locked in the very center of the fire. The girl survived, despite the fact that 65% of her body was burned.
She lost a few fingers in her arms and was forever mutilated by terrible burns. So, imagine what strong stress Turia experienced. She admits that she did not understand why she survived and how to continue to live in this body! But now she inspires and motivates millions of women who cannot come to terms with her appearance.
In that terrible period, next to her was her devoted friend Michael Hoskin. He helped her and supported her on a difficult path of rehabilitation.
A romantic relationship began between young people and soon they got married. And in 2017, the couple had a son.
According to Michael, his wife is a very beautiful and wonderful person for him, only her skin has changed.
