Do you think that an ordinary corner for hygiene needs in a standard apartment can be made unique and cozy only by enlarging it? This is where you are wrong! We present to you Irina’s project, which will not only inspire but also teach you how to highlight the advantages of a small space.
The art of making the most of space: what needs to be removed. Even a small bathroom can be easily turned into a maximally functional room. To do this, you need to give up bulky cabinets and shelves, choose a compact cabinet for the washbasin and move the washing machine to another place. In her project, Irina kept the standard bathtub.
The accents in the design of the interior space are harmonious: one of the walls, the border in the bathroom and the floor are covered with wooden planks, while the other part is renovated in light shades. This creates a visual feeling of increased space, and the added wooden elements give the room coziness and style.
A water meter built into the toilet and a removable magnetic bathtub make solving household problems easy and convenient. Next to the toilet there is a compact shelf for storing household chemicals. There is also a space near the tub that can be used for storage or as a convenient platform for bathing babies.
However, Irina’s main professional technique is to install a heating column directly in the bathroom. This not only frees up space in the kitchen, but also creates a seamless harmony with the shower room.
Irina also emphasizes that heated floors become a real salvation on cold days, providing comfort and eliminating the need to install additional heaters.
Small details such as the decorative wooden mirror frame and stylish accessories fit harmoniously into the main interior. A bright round element on the wall adds balance, giving the room a unique harmony and coziness.
