The little opossum accepts the dog as his mother.
Opossums are nocturnal animals.
Unfortunately, because of their nocturnal activity, they run the risk of getting hit by cars. Unfortunately, that’s exactly what happened in this story.
After a car accident, the possum’s mother dies, but her baby survives. Rescuers decide to take the orphaned baby to a shelter.
They introduce the baby to a white German shepherd named Hunt, who had no pups.
Fortunately, the affectionate dog accepted the little creature and took care of him as if he were her own baby.
When people see these two together, they smile because of the strong bond between many different types.
The possum is much bigger now, but he still likes to climb on his mother’s back:
